Triangle

Triangle is one of the basic shape of geometry and also a polygon of 3 sides.

Triangles are mainly classified in two 2 categories on the basis of angles and sides.

On the basis of angle there are 3 types of triangle
1. Equilateral
2. Isosceles
3. scalene

On the basis of sides there are 3 types of triangle
1. Right angled triangle
2. Obtuse angled triangle
3. Acute angled triangle

Area of a Triangle: The area of triangle is the space bounded by its sides.
Formula for find out the area is as below,
Area = 1/2*base*height

Perimeter of a triangle: The perimeter of a triangle is the sum of the length of its sides.
Formula for find out the perimeter of a triangle is given below,
P = a+b+c
