Various kinds of angles in geometry

Today am going to give you some useful information about list of different types of angles in geometry. So let us start learning.

• Right angle: If any angle exactly measures 90 degree is known as right angle.
• Acute angle: An angle whose measure is less then one right angle is known as acute angle.
• Obtuse angle : An angle whose measure is more than one right angle and less than two right angles is known as obtuse angle.
• Vertically opposite angles:If any two straight lines intersect each other at any point, the pairs of opposite angles are formed are called vertically opposite angles
• Straight angle: :An angle whose measure is exactly 180^o is known as a straight angle
• Reflex angle : An angle whose measure is more than 180^o and less than 360^o is known as angle.
• Complete angle: An angle whose measure is 360^o is said to be a complete angle.
• Equal angle : If any Two angles are said to be equal, if they have the same measure.
• Adjacent angle:Any Two angles having a common arm and a common vertex, such that the other arms of these angles are on opposite sides of the common arm, are known as adjacent angles.
• Complementary angles:If the sum of any two angles is one right angle (i.e., 90^o), they are known as complementary angles.
• Supplementary angle:If any Two angles are said to be supplementary, if the sum of their measures is 180^o.
• Bisector of an angle: If a ray or a straight line passing through the vertex of that angle and divides the angle into two angles of equal measurement, then that line is called as the Bisector of that angle.
• Linear pair of angle: If any Two adjacent angles are said to form a linear pair of angles
